Dulini River Lodge is situated in the Dulini Private Game Reserve in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, South Africa. The Sabi Sand Game Reserve shares an unfenced border with the well known Kruger National Park, allowing African wildlife to move freely.
You can access Dulini River Lodge either by road or air from Johannesburg. Flights are available from OR Tambo International Airport to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA). The drive from Johannesburg will take between 5 and 6 hours, depending on traffic.
How to get there
Directions from Johannesburg
From Johannesburg, take the N12 / N4 and drive to Nelspruit. From Nelspruit, take the R40 to Hazyview. When you arrive in Hazy view, take the 536 towards the Paul Kruger Gate.
After about 34km (21.12 miles) keep a lookout for signs indicating the private game lodges such as Dulini situated on the left hand side of the road. Turn into the dirt road at the signs. Drive about 34km (5.09 miles) along the dirt road and pass a school situated on the left hand side.
Continue until you reach a large four-way intersection. Once you reach the intersection, turn right and continue for about 1.4km (0.86) until you reach a T-junction. At the T-junction, turn left and travel for about 800m (0.49 miles).
You will see signboards indicating the Dulini game lodges on the left hand side of the road. Turn left here and drive 1km (0.62 miles) until you reach the gate to the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. You will have to pay an entrance fee per vehicle.
Once inside the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, turn left immediately. Drive past the turnoffs to Savanna, Castleton, Singita and Idube. Once you've driven past the Idube sign, you will see signboards indicating the different Dulini lodges. Follow the signs to Dulini River Lodge.
